Presenter: Ann Meeks sent her oldest son away to college this year on a full academic scholarship without the help of her local public high school. She graduated from Utah State University with a degree in English and George Wythe University with a Masters degree in Education. Having home educated her children for 11 years, she has encouraged each of them to pursue their individual passions. Now in a new phase of life, she works with homeschooling parents via Harmony Education. She is the founder and owner of ACE the ACT Test Prep Boot Camps and she teaches these popular courses all over Utah and Idaho. She and her husband Jesse love to debate over what the word “clean” really means, watch Star Trek: The Next Generation reruns and read great books with their 4 amazing kids: Andrew, 22; Daniel,18; Jessica, 16 and Jacob, 14. In her spare time, she likes to beat her family in Scrabble, watch NCAA basketball, dream about vacationing in tropical places, and perfect the art of not knowing how to use the DVD player.
