"The Master" is an inspiring new album of Christ-centered hymns performed by the 100-piece, award-winning American Heritage Youth Lyceum Philharmonic. It is an absolutely beautiful album that communicates the spirit and mission of AHS without a single word. Feel the spirit of these dedicated youth shine through in Sabbath-appropriate arrangements of I Stand All Amazed, Come Thou Fount, How Great Thou Art, If You Could Hie to Kolob, and more. This purely orchestral album is perfect for missionaries or Sabbath listening and is a testament to the impact of youth who choose to share their talents in devotion to God.

Music is such an important part of creating the right atmosphere in the home but I struggle with much of the "LDS Music" out on the market right now. This the ONLY album I have that takes the elevated music of our hymnal and combines it with the elevated art form of orchestral music.
Have you noticed how most "LDS Music" is country music, pop, acapella, even rap music disguised as sacred music. Of course lots of people listen to these genres of music during the week so when they hear a hymn on Sunday in the same style it appeals to them. This album is different. It combines an elevated style, classical/orchestral music, with the elevated hymns we love.
There are countless Tabernacle Choir albums available and this album is similar in feel because it captures that same power of a large, dedicated group of musicians performing in an elevated style, but is unique in that there are no words to distract from the feeling of the hymn. What do you get when you remove the singers and the lyrics they sing? The pure, undiluted emotion of the hymn. Not only that, this album is great no matter your native language.
I truly feel the devotion of these young performers. They sound so professional you almost have to stop yourself and say, are these really teenagers making all this music. It's incredible. Buy it.
